Now the configuration file is actually built into the Redshift installation now.

First up, is this OpenColorIO configuration. Now let's go ahead and talk through a few of these options real quick, just so you understand what is actually going on here. You'll notice this new color management section down here, that has all of our ACES settings already set up and configured right out of the box. And we'll need to switch to the advanced mode here, and go to the globals tab. Next, let's hop over into our render settings, and come down to the Redshift section. This input color profile is not really a big deal for us, as Redshift we'll be handling most of the color from here on out.

And come to our project settings, and just ensure that linear workflow is checked on. The first thing we need to do is to check on our linear workflow in Cinema 4D. So here in Cinema 4D, I have my scene built up, and I've set my render view to go. But there are a few gotchas that we need to talk about real quick. Luckily since version 3.0.46, Redshift is now using ACES by default. Since we've decided to use ACES as our workflow for our compositing pipeline, we'll need to make sure that we have the proper color space settings in Cinema 4D.
